NEW EVERY MORNING

Psalm 119:89-96

   The praise in this prayer is for God’s unchangeable nature.  His

Word is firmly fixed in the heavens; His faithfulness endures to all generations; He established the earth and it stands firm; by His appointment they stand today; all things are His servants.  We have no need to worry because God is in control.

 

   There are some general statements about life. 

·        If Your law had not been my delight I would have perished

·        By Your precepts You have given me life

·        I am Yours

·        The wicked lie in wait to destroy me

·        I have sought Your precepts

·        I have seen a limit to all perfection but Your commandment is exceedingly broad

  

   The request and commitments are

·        Save me

·        I will never forget Your precepts

·        I consider Your testimonies

 

AMEN!

 

   Glorify and enjoy the unchangeable God and rest in His faithfulness today.
