NEW EVERY MORNING

Psalm 119:105-112

   The theme of this prayer is guidance and direction in making decisions.  Because I hold my life in my hand continually I need Your Word to be a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.  This is a very personal prayer asking for life instead of affliction and safety from the trap the wicked have laid for me.

 

   These are the requests made in this prayer.

·        Give me life according to Your Word

·        Accept my freewill offerings of praise

·        Teach me Your rules

 

   How does God’s Word affect the decisions you make?  When your focus for life comes from Scripture you can make the commitments of this prayer.

·        I have made an oath and confirmed it, to keep Your righteous rules

·        I do not forget Your laws

·        I do not stray from Your precepts

·        Your testimonies are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart

·        I incline my heart to perform Your statutes forever, to the end

 

AMEN!

 

   Thank God for His faithful guidance as you glorify and enjoy Him today.
