NEW EVERY MORNING

Psalm 119:121-128

   This is the prayer of God’s servant who is oppressed because of his love of God and His Word.  Give Your servant a pledge of good; deal with Your servant according to Your steadfast love; I am Your servant.  Being God’s servant in the world means applying God’s Word to all areas of life and being able to say, I have done what is just and right.

 

    God’s servant has these requests.

·        Do not leave me to my oppressors

·        Give Your servant a pledge of good

·        Don’t let the insolent oppress me

·        Deal with Your servant according to Your steadfast love

·        Teach me Your statutes

·        Give me understanding that I may know Your testimonies

 

These are the commitments made by God’s servant

·        My eyes long for Your salvation and for the fulfillment of Your righteous promise

·        It is time for the Lord to act for Your law has been broken

·        I love Your commandments above gold, above fine gold

·        I consider all Your precepts to be right

·        I hate every false way

 

AMEN!

 

   Glorify and enjoy God as you serve Him faithfully today.
