NEW EVERY MORNING

Psalm 119:153-160

   These verses are a prayer for mercy.  The requests for God to respond in loving kindness to His undeserving child are:

 

·        Look on my affliction and deliver me

·        Plead my cause and redeem me

·        Give me life according to Your promise

·        Give me life according to Your rules

·        Give me life according to Your steadfast love (mercy)

·        Consider how I love Your precepts

 

   Statements of praise:

·        Great is Your mercy, O Lord

·        The sum of Your Word is truth

·        Every one of Your righteous rules endures forever

 

   Statements about those who do not love the Lord:

·        Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek Your statutes

·        Many are my persecutors and my adversaries

·        I look at the faithless with disgust because they do not keep Your commands

 

   Statements of commitment:

·        I do not forget Your law

·        I do not swerve from Your testimonies

 

AMEN!

 

   Praise God for His mercy as you glorify and enjoy Him today
