What does it mean to glorify God? The nations rebelling against God in Psalm 2 obviously are not in the business of bringing glory to God. Thomas Watson, a noted 17th century pastor in England, gives four characteristics that describe glorifying God.
Appreciation – to give God the highest place in our thoughts; to deeply admire His attributes and to seek to be like Him
Adoration – to worship God alone
Affection – to love God with a forgiven heart
Subjection – to give obedient service to God
Glorify and enjoy God as you serve Him today.
