NEW EVERY MORNING
Jesus’ brothers offer Him advice on how He should manage Himself. The Feast of Booths (Deuteronomy 16:13-15) was a yearly celebration of the harvest, similar to our Thanksgiving, except it continued for a week. Many people travelled to Jerusalem for this event. The brothers of Jesus, who didn’t believe in Him, tauntingly tell Him to go to Jerusalem so people can see who He is.
There are three types of people in this passage. The brothers of Jesus wanted Him to perform in a certain way. Then there were the people who thought He was a good man. While the self righteous Jewish leaders wanted to kill Him because He was leading people away from the rituals of their religion.
What is Jesus telling you about Himself and how should you respond?
Glorify and enjoy who Jesus is in your life today.
HAVE A BLESSED DAY!
