NEW EVERY MORNING

John 8:1:11

     Truth is difficult for the self righteous person to handle.  The religious leaders brought a woman to Jesus whose sin required death, according to Jewish law.   Jesus, the law giver, reminded her accusers

that they were equally guilty before God.  What did Jesus write in the sand?  We are not told, but it was powerful enough for these people to walk away from Jesus rather than arrest Him.

 

     Another life was changed by Jesus that day.  The words, “neither do I condemn you,” must have echoed in her soul for the rest of her life.  The law only showed how forgiveness was needed.

 

     What do these verses tell you about Jesus and how should you respond?

 

     Enjoy living a forgiven life as you glorify God today.
