KNOWING GOD

Job 27:1-23

     Job expressed personal commitments in response to Bildad saying man could not be righteous in the sight of God.

¨            My lips will not speak wickedness

¨            My tongue will utter no deceit

¨            I will never admit you (Bildad and friends) are right

¨            I will not deny my integrity

¨            I will maintain my righteousness and never let it go

¨            I will teach you about the power of God

¨            I will not conceal the ways of the Almighty

     In the midst of his suffering, this commitment to God  and the righteousness that God gives His people kept Job spiritually strong.

Job saw the alternative to righteous living, wickedness, a life with fear and hopelessness.

 

     What is God telling you about Himself and how should you respond?

 

     Glorify and enjoy God today as you apply Job’s commitments to your life.
